Instructions written by Congress
George from Hope Mills, NC– Verified Buyer
The problem with the instructions is that they don't specify which side is finished in wood grain, black, or unfinished. This leads to mistakes, which is bad since much of this is put together with dowels and glue. By the time that you figure out that you have somehow got piece D, E, and Q facing the wrong way, you've nailed the back on, and totally destroyed it. I have assembled about 50 pieces of furniture, and this is near the bottom of useful instructions I've come across. I initially thought the instructions were written by a former IRS agent, but I decided it was written by Congress, because the instructions don't work.

I really like this. It took a bit longer than we thought it would to put together. It was pretty easy to do but my husband assembles thing every day at his job. If i would have done it by myself it would have been harder. The spots on the inside of the doors to put DVDs are a bit flimzy. I could give a bunch of tips while putting this together but i doubt anyone will be that interested. I would buy this again for sure. I did find out we had more DVDs than i thought we filled this up and still have more to find a home for.
My $300 mistake
Valerie N from Washington, DC
I should have taken the reviews to heart before purchasing this unit, but I was convinced it was ideal.
As expected, a little expensive though.
digitaldevil9 from Austin, TX
I ordered this unit in the hopes that it would house the massive DVD/Blu-ray/game collection I own, and it does just that. I have read other reviews that state that the DVD racks inside are flimsy, and while not the strongest pieces of wood, they do just fine. The drawers on top could have been constructed a little better, but not a real big complaint. I would say the best thing about this unit is the overall look and functionality. But if you have a lot of DVD box sets, they sometimes do not fit so well(it might be hard to close the cabinet doors due to thick DVDs). The unit seems to be made mostly for standard sized DVDs, games, etc. My only real complaint is the price, it just does not seem to merit [$]. But if you need something that holds a lot of media while looking nice, this unit will do you fine.
Very nice organizer

A little challenging to put together but looks very nice once done. The magnets for the doors don't work great on one of the doors and the DVDs that sit on the doors don't stay on unless the shelf is completely tight with DVDs. Otherwise very happy with it.

This came in so many pieces, I was nervous at first. Assembly took a long time but wasn't really too difficult. This is a quality piece of furniture. Be warned that the color may vary from the picture; when I got it next to my other furniture it didn't really match and I couldn't return it.
Looks amazing in black!!!

We purchased this in black on black and it looks great. It took some time to put together but the time was worth it. All the dvds are easily seen when trying to find a movie. It was the perfect compromise for me and my husband he has a place for all his dvds in the living room and they are consealed so my living room still looks nice. :-)

My husband found this pretty easy to put together. I have used it and the drawers and main storage area works well.

It serves our purpose quite nicely. It was easy to assemble and was what we expected for the price.

Fairly complicated to put together, and not sure yet how I will like the drawers, as they're basically just glued together. I like the look of it though and am hopeful that it will wear well over time.
