Exactly as described, but nothing to write home about

I bought 2 of these to maximize nightstand storage and get our bedroom "staged" prior to relatives visiting. The dimensions are perfect for what I needed and, since the drawers are not on bearings, the drawers are almost as wide as the opening for them. Everything about the materials is cheap and I've noticed I'm more disciplined about wiping up spills to avoid water rings, since they'll probably warp easily. I use them almost daily and they've held up fine (have had them for about a month). If your time isn't worth anything, they're a great deal, but it did take about 1.5-2 hours for assembly. But, I'd spent at least that long perusing craigslist and decided to cut my losses and just buy these. The only "surprise" is how much these smell. It's been a month and I still get wafts of that particle board glue while lying in bed. I'd left the drawers open for the first few days before filling them up, but I recommend laying everything out and letting it air out prior to assembly.
Perfect inexpensive night stand

Definitely junky furniture - the price is appropriate and don't buy that list price - - it sells for around $70 at many retailers. And that price is about right. Sturdy - feels like a hundred screws when you are assembling. The styling allows it to look nicer than it is - most pressboard dressers don't bother with legs or a top that has an overhang and those features make it look nicer than it is. In black it just sort of disappears in with the other furniture which is perfect for my use. I have two for night stands and am very happy. They are the perfect bed height and offer a surprising amount of storage in the drawers. Doubt it would hold up to heavy use (kids probably not a good idea, the drawers don't slide easily). I have seen it sold as a dresser and that's just ridiculous - it's quite tiny.

Easy to put together but a little time consuming. I replaced the plastic handles with brushed nickel....but works as great as a nice stand. A bit small for a regular dresser, good for a nursery or if you just need something in a spare bedroom.

OK, so despite the fact that these are SUPER cheap (I mean, the drawers don't even have metal or plastic glides) they were easy to assemble and are quite cute when put together. I was pleasantly surprised!
Easy to assemble!

Very cheap in price, but expensive in presentation :) only negative was that they drawers don't have medal sliders... they just rest on wooden rails Pros: easy assembly Cons: drawers don't have medal sliders... they just rest on wooden rails

It took a while to put together. You can do it by yourself but that's not what I recommend. Everything was okay until it came time to put the "cardboard" on the back. The pre cut holes didn't line up. I ended up using the small nails only. It worked out. Just follow the directions carefully and make sure you match up the pieces properly. Once certain parts are set you can't change it easily. Overall I like the chest drawers. It holds a lot and it doesn't look very cheap.
Smaller than I thought
Kayla from San Francisco, CA – Verified Buyer
Even though it's smaller than I thought and was hoping for, it serves its purpose. It was shipped a little roughly though because one of the corners came a little smashed. But it's just for me and my clothes so I don't really mind. It was easy to put together and seems to be holding up well, especially during the earthquake.
Gift for my brother

We also got this for my brother along with the dresser in this set. The knobs are cheap so we replaced them but no complaints about the rest of it. It looks great in his bedroom.

I redid my guest room and was in need of bedside tables. So. I bought two for either side of the bed. It serves two purposes: a table and drawers for guest to put away their clothes and not have to live out of a suitcase. My husband found them easy to put together, too.

Not as great quality as I would like but for the price they are pretty good they will do the job they do look good
