Exactly as described, but nothing to write home about

I bought 2 of these to maximize nightstand storage and get our bedroom "staged" prior to relatives visiting. The dimensions are perfect for what I needed and, since the drawers are not on bearings, the drawers are almost as wide as the opening for them. Everything about the materials is cheap and I've noticed I'm more disciplined about wiping up spills to avoid water rings, since they'll probably warp easily. I use them almost daily and they've held up fine (have had them for about a month). If your time isn't worth anything, they're a great deal, but it did take about 1.5-2 hours for assembly. But, I'd spent at least that long perusing craigslist and decided to cut my losses and just buy these.
Perfect inexpensive night stand

Definitely junky furniture - the price is appropriate and don't buy that list price - - it sells for around $70 at many retailers. And that price is about right. Sturdy - feels like a hundred screws when you are assembling. The styling allows it to look nicer than it is - most pressboard dressers don't bother with legs or a top that has an overhang and those features make it look nicer than it is. In black it just sort of disappears in with the other furniture which is perfect for my use. I have two for night stands and am very happy. They are the perfect bed height and offer a surprising amount of storage in the drawers. Doubt it would hold up to heavy use (kids probably not a good idea, the drawers don't slide easily). I have seen it sold as a dresser and that's just ridiculous - it's quite tiny.
Three of these did the trick

I have 3 of these. Sturdy and look much more expensive than they are. I replaced the plastic handles with nickel stain ones which improved the look. One is a nightstand and one next to my desk for office supplies. The last one is in the hall for hats, gloves, etc. Table top still looks good despite 6 months of abuse over a long winter. I use candle wax on the bottom of drawers for smoother opening.

It took a while to put together. You can do it by yourself but that's not what I recommend. Everything was okay until it came time to put the "cardboard" on the back. The pre cut holes didn't line up. I ended up using the small nails only. It worked out. Just follow the directions carefully and make sure you match up the pieces properly. Once certain parts are set you can't change it easily. Overall I like the chest drawers. It holds a lot and it doesn't look very cheap.
Put together in 40 minutes

Great small chest...looks very nice as bedside table, quite a bit of storage in the drawers, all the construction pieces were there so assembly was simple. Only thing, the drawers stick a little but soap on the runners should help that. I looked long & hard for a good small chest of drawers...and here it is!

Easy to put together but a little time consuming. I replaced the plastic handles with brushed nickel....but works as great as a nice stand. A bit small for a regular dresser, good for a nursery or if you just need something in a spare bedroom.

OK, so despite the fact that these are SUPER cheap (I mean, the drawers don't even have metal or plastic glides) they were easy to assemble and are quite cute when put together. I was pleasantly surprised!
Smaller than I thought
Kayla from San Francisco, CA– Verified Buyer
Even though it's smaller than I thought and was hoping for, it serves its purpose. It was shipped a little roughly though because one of the corners came a little smashed. But it's just for me and my clothes so I don't really mind. It was easy to put together and seems to be holding up well, especially during the earthquake.
Easy to assemble!

Very cheap in price, but expensive in presentation :)

The chest was pretty easy to assemble - and shipping was very fast.
