Vanity Stools

1. I thought the upholstered top of this stool would be white as that is what it looks like on my computor monitor. However, it is a very light creamy yellow---definitely not white. 2. The description says the stool is assembled--it is not. The four legs need to be bolted on with two bolts and washers for each one. This is not at all hard to do, no instructions necessary (and there were none) so it is no big deal. 3. The stool is very stylish and attractive, but it did have a chip of wood out of the front of one of the legs and another leg had a spot of missing stain. Its funny--if I had seen this defect in the stool at a store, I would have asked for another one or at least for a discount. However, since I have it already put together and it would be a hassle to try to pack it all up and ship it back, I just will keep it. I purchased this stool for my vanity in our master bathroom. I like that it doesn't have a back to it which allows me to slide it under the countertop when not in use since there is not much room in our master bathroom as it is. It is also very pretty and a very good match with our master bath antique white cabinets and bronze fixtures. The only reason I didn't give this five stars is because I do feel more comfortable in chairs with backs on them -- at least it gets me moving quicker in the mornings since I can't get extremely comfortable sitting in this one."..."  Read more

i found this website randomly, trying to find a great stool matching my new Scottish walnut vanity. This stool was a perfect match! looked nice, just a right height and soft. This is the third stool I've ordered from a variety of stores trying to find the right one. It's a little more money than I would normally pay but after 2 failed attempts I decided to go for it and it's perfect. I have a lot of stainless/brushed metals in my bathroom and needed a stool for the vanity area (in a mid century modern/modern style house). This is excellent. Do not expect the seat to be cushiony, it's not but it's great for the bathroom and will be easy to recover down the road.
