1. I thought the upholstered top of this stool would be white as that is what it looks like on my computor monitor. However, it is a very light creamy yellow---definitely not white.
2. The description says the stool is assembled--it is not. The four legs need to be bolted on with two bolts and washers for each one. This is not at all hard to do, no instructions necessary (and there were none) so it is no big deal.
3. The stool is very stylish and attractive, but it did have a chip of wood out of the front of one of the legs and another leg had a spot of missing stain. Its funny--if I had seen this defect in the stool at a store, I would have asked for another one or at least for a discount. However, since I have it already put together and it would be a hassle to try to pack it all up and ship it back, I just will keep it. I guess I am disappointed in quality control (back there in China) though I do like the stool very much.
