Valves

We only buy Grohe sink fixtures, so when we remodelled our shower, we bought two Grohe valves for the shower controls. They work very easily and control the water temperature to the exact point you want. My only complaint (and this was TOTALLY my fault) was that I did not know that this valve controlled only temperature - the pressure is always the same. Grohe sells valves that control both temperature and pressure if you are interested in that. I used to turn the water down when shaving my legs or soaping up, but now there is only one "speed". Next time I will read the description more carefully. It is an excellent valve, and is very attractive. Plus the new low flow showerheads inject air and still feel like you are getting a ton of water. I am probably using less water now than I did in my old shower!"..."  Read more

When something feels heavy does that really mean it's more expensive? The fit and finish of this valve is excellent! By the feel of it's function you know it's solid and will last a long time."

This valve is easy to install except for the two long screws that is easy to strip so be careful. Finish it with the Grohe chrome trim and this thing is a beauty."
