My other vacuum cleaner broke before I ordered this from the massive amounts of pet hair in my apt. When I got it I was worried that the over flow of pet hair was going to kill this one immediately. No problem, it sucked it right up and didnt even belch. Never owned a vacuum which does such a great job. I have a very shaggy dog who literally sheds 3 or 4 times her body mass. And a long haired cat. We all live in a teeny tiny space and it gets over run during shedding season. This vacuum clears the floor as if I have no pets at all. It also has a great capacity for holding what it picks up. I havent had to change it but once so far. Where other vacuums failed and clogged up, it does the trick. I only wish they had designed the cord wrap slightly better as it is hard to store the cord in between uses. Thats partially because it has a long cord. I use the vacuum on a regular basis. Pros – lightweight and picks up dirt I didn't know I had. Cons –manual settings with the carpet adjustments and no light on the front. I would still recommend this vacuum to anyone. I had a much more expensive vacuum that after vacuuming with it I used this new vacuum and it still pulled more dirt out of the carpets."..."  Read more

I am one that is hard on vacuums. I don't know why, but they break down on me all the time. I'm buying new ones several times a year-yes, I've gone through that many. So, I think that I can say that I've become an expert on vacuums! When I received this vacuum, I was surprised at the size. It's big! It seems to be powerful and it's been standing up to my use. We have two dogs and one of them is a shedding machine, so I need to vacuum every day. So far, I havent seen any wearing down of the vacuum. This is a very lightweight, easy to use, and EFFECTIVE tool. Whenever I see an area of my flooring where there is dirt, I grab this baby and put it to work. It's amazing the amount of dirt and dust you will get up from your carpeting and flooring. I particularly love it in my craft room where there are tons of tiny fabric scraps, strings, little needles, etc. This small vacuum picks it all up and doesn't complain!
