Fair speaker stands

These stands have good weight to them and look great from a distance. Up close, the stands do not look as nice and are less shiny than in the pictures. The stands would look more expensive if they didn't come with the low quality "VTI" brand logo on them.
They are gray not silver

The speakers themselves are good and sturdy, however the description says 'Silver' and the picture of the product looks silver, but in reality these are dark gray in color and not silver at all.
Silver stands are grey.

Speaker stands are not silver but grey, like a base paint. It is not a high end product, more like a fairly inexpensive chinese one.
I'm Very Happy

I purchased these for a pair of Klipsch RB81 II speakers. The transaction was easy, the product arrived quickly and assembly was a breeze. They really do look nice and the speakers sound much better than before. Highly recommended!

These stands, as others have pointed out, are sturdy enough on initial construction, with a few minor concerns. Which are: the slightly shifting top plate (something which could have been remedied with one more bolt), the ability to actually fill these w/ damping material, and the color (minor). I am using a rather large Dynaudio speaker on these, and they seem to rest quite comfortably atop of these stands, making them good for larger speakers. They also look half-way attractive, too, with the matte silver finish (others have noted the color-to my eye, it's probably more a matter of taste, and I would not be off put by this. They do not look far off in color from what I recollect the silver 805 stands to look like).
Good enough with minor problems

Great Quality stand a good price
Alan from Chicago,IL– Verified Buyer
This is an excellent quality product for the price. I purchased the black version and it has a nice rough finish. Holds up my 35lbs.+ bookshelves with ease. The base is a very heavy cast iron and I don't feel the need for extra dampening with sand/leadshot.

The stands are very sturdy even on carpet. My only issue is that my speakers Klipsch rs-62 have a weird shape (think home plate in baseball) and there is no way to put the weird peg on the rectangle stand.
Good speaker stands

I don't think you can fill these stands with sand as it will leak out of the kind of cheap hole cover -- you could make your own seal I suppose. I drilled new holes in the mounting plates to match my B&W mounting screws to add stability -- a minor annoyance and to be expected with universal speaker stands. BTW B&W speaker stands cost 5x more.

Exactly what I was looking for. Very attractive, modern/contemporary design, blends in perfectly with our decor. Sturdy and stable. Highly recommend.
