Great Tower Unit! from Laguna Niguel, CA on 10/22/2015 – Verified Buyer
I was looking for an entertainment center that would accommodate all my electronics including the decent size subwoofer in one stylish unit. I honestly think I reviewed the details of every possible unit out there. This one was perfect. I simply did not include the lowest shelf into the assembly and put my subwoofer on the floor directly underneath the stand. The second from the bottom shelf was big enough for my receiver with some space for air ventilation. All other electronics went to the upper shelves.

Overall I'm very happy. I did not put the TV on this stand but it works great for all other electronics. Slick and modern design makes it a very attractive piece of the living room decor.

Pros: Stylish and durable
Cons: I would suggest better/stronger attachment of the wheels

Very weak top shelf mount, overwise nice from Maryland on 05/02/2011
The top shelf that anchors the entire unit during assembly is attached via metal disks that are poorly epoxied under the top glass. Therefore the top shelf, which is on the bottom during assembly, can not take more than minimal torque without the disks separating from the top glass. However assembly requires that you tighten each post section (with the unit then still upside down), which ultimately applies torque to those disks. Two of the four disks separated from the top glass during construction, but I didn't realize it until the unit was upright. But the instructions don't warn about torque (which you have to apply to build the unit) until the last page when the stand is nearly complete and the posts have already been tightened. Additionally instructions then warn that the top shelf can not take any side pressure, so you need two people to turn the rack onto it's feet. The rack comes in two 50lb packages, so shipping it back isn't worth the hassle.
Once assembled and upright the rack is attractive and can accomodate heavy equipment - the shelves can handle 70lbs each. The perforated wire covering fence works well with inexpensive velcro wire ties used to keep the cables in relatively close columns behind the fence. So you have an open rack and can see your equipment with only a hint of the cables being there. It's a nice touch, and it's what I was looking for.
The top shelf disk connections are substandard, but I'm going to use a fine pt silver pen to trace the rear-half semi-circle of each disk onto the bottom of the glass so I can re-attach them with proper epoxy if needed.
In my opinion, this rack would be greatly improved if the top shelf was manufactured with the disks inset into the glass for greater strength and stability. As it is you really can't build this rack solidly per the instructions without risking separating the top disks from the glass. The instructions should also put the necessary warnings on the first page instead of the last one.

attractive, high quality from Rochester, NY on 10/15/2014 – Verified Buyer
Sturdy and attractive.

Like the wheels to roll out to manage wires.

Thick glass shelves -- surprising the posts screw right up against the glass (no grommots).

You have to be careful putting it together (and make sure everything lines up).

25 inch tv stand rview from Mississauga, ON on 12/25/2012 – Verified Buyer
Shipping was prompt, came as described, easy to setup. The stand is very well built and can handle the weight of my heavy amps which weigh 80 lbs. The spine at the back is great to hide wires and the wheels come in handy for easy movement. Very happy with this purchase!

Great Audio rack! from Boca Raton, FL on 08/13/2012 – Verified Buyer
We looked extensively for an audio rack that would not only suit our needs but was priced reasonably. We chose the VTI 5 shelf because of the clean look, the weight each shelf could hold and the spine that hides all the chords. We weren't dissappointed! It was easy to assemble and looks great.
