Really nice These are really nice, especially for the price. Heavy cast iron base. Good match with my b&w 805 bookshelf speakers. Only downside is there should be more than one bolt holding the pole to the bottom plate. It's sturdy but seems like a single point of failure. |

OK speaker stand Product Review Fair quality, base casting very poorly finished with paint applied over imperfect casting. Since they are in my basement I decided to keep them but I would never use the stands in my den due to the lack of quality. Service Review Did not ship free two day as promised in listing but instead was sent ground. |

A Different Kinda' Stand Product Review I'm very happy with the purchase of these speaker stands. They were very easy to assemble and look amazing in my recording studio! I purchased the 36" pr. and they are very sturdy holding up my studio monitors. I wanted something different in my studio other than the common stands most Pro Audio companies sell. These look Ultra Pro! They can be decoupled from the speakers by adding sand into the tubes, which is a nice feature. They also come with the spikes which help combat some of the vibration from your floor/carpet surface. Great product may buy another pair in the future. Highly recommended! Service Review The delivery of my stands was right on time. Racks & Stands was very good at shipping and packaging the product right. The customer service IMHO is outstanding. |

Very sturdy stands Product Review Purchased for rear surrounds. Stands are very well made and look good. They support my 15 pound speakers no problem and are very stable. Would not hesitate to recommend! Service Review Recieved in a timely fashion and in good shape. |

good stands - chipped finish The quality of the stands are great. The assembly is simple. I'd have given them a 5 of 5 except the finish had minor chips and scratches. The scratches and chips weren't significant enough to return them. |

Better than the photos appear These stands are exactly what I wanted -- sturdy and nice looking. And the metal surface looks much better than it does in the photos. It's a smoother black metal, not as rough, but not piano-black shiny either. Plus, the bases now have a nice VTI badge on them that makes them look more professional/high-end. So they've improved the appearance of the stands since the original photos were taken IMO (assuming the photos are accurate). I found that the carpet spikes made the stands *less* stable than without on carpet. However, be aware that without the spikes, the stands are ~1/2" shorter (making mine 28.5" instead of 29"). These are quite strong and heavy (though not too heavy, just right for bookshelf speakers -- my speakers are ~20 lbs apiece). And, as previously noted, you can either fill the stand poles with sand/shot or fish the speaker wires through them. Very easy assembly -- it only takes minutes. To align the top plate with the base, simply lay the stand on the floor before tightening the base. I would install the top plate first, then attach the base with the stand on the floor to get the proper alignment. |

Good stands I received the stands a day ago and was surprised at their quality. The stands weigh just under 15lbs each, and assemble pretty quickly. They fit my polk monitor 30's almost perfectly. In testing polk monitor 40's on them, the stands held them just fine, so I will likely be getting another pair for those speakers as well. The best thing about them though is that they simply look great with speakers on them. |

Buy these High quality stands with heavy *Cast Iron* base and steel riser. Don't need to add sand, but can. As good as any stand sold by your high end speaker brand and 1/3 the price. Make sure you look at the measurements carefully so you know exactly how big they are, since they weigh a ton, would hate to have to send them back. :) |
