I had been looking for heavy speaker stands for my B&W 685 s2 bookshelves. I am using them as my pc speakers and my desk is 28" tall. So I wanted a heavy stands with larger (deeper) top plates that are at least 28" tall. During my search, I found that this was a very rare combination even disregrading price.
Excellent pair of stands

Excellent pair of stands. Easy to assemble. Made of heavy metal and the upper plate is big enough to hold Ascend CBM-170 SE Bookshelf speakers. Speaker cable is hidden inside the tube. Better product then that other brand that the big stores sell.

I'm simply pleased with the quality of these stands. They're made to last! I would highly recommend this to anyone. You will not be disappointed.

very nice build quality speaker stands for the money.Probably better than some more expensive stands out there.A nice heavy cast iron base and the top plate can be used as is or add your own top base on top of the existing one if you choose. Which is what I did to better fit my HTD level 3 speakers. No disappointments here.

Heavy cast iron base and large top plate provide excellent stability. Stands were easy to assemble, and once filled with sand, were perfect for my Paradigm Studio 10's. Minor scratching required touch up.
