All products are constructed with durable solid steel, designed for easy mobility and flexibility, and finished smoothly and beautifully. All units are equipped with long cord electric outlets and are readily assembled. VTI residential lines mainly include audio / video racks and speaker stands for home theatre use. All the audio racks are constructed with steel frame and tempered glass or MDF shelves.
VTI racks offer deeper and taller shelving space to accommodate the most-up-to date electronic equipment. Both the stackable and fixed racks give you the most beautiful display of your equipment matching with your furniture at home. VTI speaker stands, on the other hand, are all metal construction with cast iron base. This special feature not only offers flexible and beautiful design, but also stability and sturdiness. The rapid development of technology is changing our world. VTI, as a manufacturer, is also constantly updating their design and products to accommodate the changes.
Good value for the price

Overall, I'm happy with this stand. I'm using it for my A/V components and a future center speaker. It's a good value for the price, but there are a few things people should be aware of. 1) As some have mentioned, there are no tools included. I have my own tools, so I appreciate not having to pay for cheap throw-ins, but if you're not including the tools, you should spell out clearly what is required to assemble! You need a 3" long phillips screwdriver and a 9/16" wrench. However, the wrench needs to be fairly thin, maybe 1/4" or thinner. I ended up rubbing some of the grease from the rollers onto the threads. That way, the wrench helped to screw most of the rollers in, after which I was able to finish tightening with my hands. 2) Poles bear directly onto wood shelves, so as you screw the poles in, they dig into the wood. - This means for the bottom and middle shelves, if you ever disassemble this and put it back together, you have to line the poles up perfectly or you'll get a new, offset circle in the wood and see part of the prior damage. - When you assemble the middle and bottom shelves, you place them directly onto the poles, while also lining up the holes in the shelf with the holes in all five poles. The reality is, you're going to place the shelf on the poles, then gently move the shelf so the holes line up. Well, if you have sharp edges on one of the poles, you end up with a bunch of scratches in the wood as you try to line everything up (yes, this happened to me) - Since the only metal-to-metal contact for load bearing is within the relatively small threaded shafts in each pole, the load-carry capacity isn't too great. This means there's probably little margin in their rated load capacity, so don't over-load this thing! 2) Due to the way this is designed, if you want to add a shelf, you have to take the ENTIRE thing apart!!! Now, see my comment above regarding having to line everything up again. The Good: - You can add additional shelves - Large enough for most of my components - Attractive look (I got the black poles and cherry shelves) - Good value for the price The Bad: - Top shelf arrived with a patch of what seems to be adhesive residue that won't rub off - No tools or list of tools required - Minimal instructions with typos (one part calls for Pole C, while another part calls them Pole B - yes I'm being picky) - VTI logo prominently placed in top center (kinda looks tacky) - Poor design details
Sturdy and portable . . .

I wanted something I could move by myself to hold my 32" TV and four components, and I am able to do so with this unit. It was easy to assemble and is deep enough to hold my 17" X 18" X 8" CD player on the lower shelf. (However, one of the posts in back blocks the connectors on the player, so I have to angle it rather than having it even with the front of the shelf.) The biggest negatives so far are that it shows fingerprints really badly (I have the black shelves) and that it arrived with an absolutely sickening and poisonous smell on two of the shelves. I opened up the package and aired out the shelves in my garage for two weeks before assembling the unit, but it's still a bit stinky. I'm guessing those shelves were wrapped and packaged before the finish had a chance to fully cure. There are also some spots of sticky residue from tape and behind the front logo decal that fell off; I'm not sure what would be safe to use to remove it, since no care instructions were included. If I had it to do over, I think I would buy the same type unit from the same manufacturer, but in a larger size.
Very Good TV stand.

Need your own tools for assembly
morrison from northwest – Verified Buyer
Solid, attractive TV stand came very well packed. [...] My only issue was that the assembly required a wrench and phillips screwdriver with a long shaft. My own screwdriver was too short so I had to postpone assembly with the pieces all over the place until I could buy one. I bought a wrench, too, but the wrench head was too thick so I ended up tightening the nut on the wheels with my fingers. I would have appreciated assembly tools being included with the stand, or at least information in the instructions as to the specifications of the screwdriver and wrench need for assembly.
VTI AR503 S/B review.

Purchasing sight-unseen furniture always makes me nervous, especially given the function for which this piece would be used. I had been looking for an attractive, relatively inexpensive rolling TV stand for a heavy and large 36-inch Sony CRT-based TV (over 230 pounds!). Fortunately, I stumbled across the VTI AR503. With its 5-wheel design, excellent casters, and multi-leveled shelf design, I was able to neatly consolidate my entire collection of A/V gear (7 devices!) onto this one, compact unit. Because it is on wheels, I was able to maneuver it almost effortlessly onto the precise spot I wanted in my bedroom. From package opening to finish, assembly took about 20 minutes. Also of note is its modularity, as additional shelves can be purchased. This unit comes in either black or cherry shelves with black or silver poles. Due to its 5-pole design, it is very sturdy with no shelf bowing and the weight is evenly distributed amongst the included five casters. Highly recommended!
VTI AR503 Good Product
Jack from St. Pete/Clearwater, FL
Product shipped directly from manufacturer very quickly. Ordered on Sunday, in my home in 5 days, delivered on Saturday. Shipment was damage free. Product is packaged for ground shipment. Every shelf is wrapped in bubble shipping material with cardboard separating everything. The casters, posts, and assembly hardware were boxed separately within the shipping carton. The posts were wrapped in plastic sleeves to prevent them from rubbing together in shipment. The casters and hardware in their own bags. No problems assembling the stand. The pre-drilled holes in the shelves aligned almost perfectly. The shelf surfaces are smooth. The casters roll easily on a hard surface. Three of the six casters have locks to prevent rolling. On wall to wall carpeting the locks aren't necessary, but they are a nice addition. The AR503 looks good with my audio/video system on it. The shelf is wide enough to have my 40" Sony HDTV and center speaker on it. Great product!! Thanks
Exactly what I wanted, good price

I used this with a 42 in plasma in the basement rec room. It easily held all of the other devices, cable box, dvd player, old vcr, receiver, xbox and playstation 2. Rolls perfectly so we can view from couch area, and exercise area, and also move back from pool table. The perfect solution, My only complaint is that it looks better than what we have in the living room!!!
Looks Good, Easy to Move
Novathecat from Frederick, MD – Verified Buyer
You need a 9/16" wrench and a long shaft phillips head screwdriver to assemble. It would have been nice if a combo tool were included like I have seen with other knock down furniture purchases. Otherwise it looks great, is easy to move and holds a 42" TV and 3 or more components easily.
VTI AR503 and 506 Stands
Chas M from Chicago Metro Area
I purchased both the TV and 6-shelf Audio Pier, and am very pleased with the careful packaging, quick shipment, and construction quality of both. Very easy to assemble. The stands would benefit by the addition of rubber washers to guard against overtightening poles and blistering the finish. Also, the casters could be sturdier. Still, I am very happy with this purchase. Your construction ratings are right on the mark, although I would have given both the TV and Audio Stands a 4. My other choice would have been the Louvan combination, at the same price, but lacking casters and having 1 less shelf.
Very good stand
