Unlike its country cousin Adirondack, the Uwharrie Chair features four legs and offers a more natural -- and more comfortable -- sitting posture. Its premium, kiln-dried treated lumber construction ensures years of performance; its distressed finish treatment provides a careworn, antique appearance. Uwharrie products are available in three finish types! Wash: All products with a wash finish are painted with a very light finish. It will be possible to see the grain of the wood through the paint. Distressed: All products with a distressed finish have a slightly more intense finish color, but have been distressed to give the appearance of a time-worn antique. Pristine: Uwharrie products can also be ordered in a ''pristine'' or painted finish. If you are seeking a completely painted surface with little to no distress, you should select pristine.
