The scale of this wall clock is just right for a large room with a large expanse of wall. It has a slight Asian feel to it, which made it a good fit with the bedroom where it's now hanging. The only reason I didn't award 5 stars is that the clock hands were bent a bit out of alignment when the clock arrived and it took a couple of tries to get them manually realigned so that they properly passed each other as the minute hand circled the clock."..."  Read more

I am very happy with the look of the clock. However, I put it on a wall that does not have much light and it is very difficult to read the time. The clock hands blend into the wood clock face. We covered the hands with silver tape as a test and that made a huge difference. We will probably paint the hands and possibly the numbers as a permanent solution. So just keep in mind that you will want it in a well lit area or might need to make some changes. In spite of that issue, I am happy that I purchased this clock."..."  Read more

This is a very attractive clock and it is easy to mount on the wall (one screw). The only thing I would advise folks to consider is that this clock does sit away from the wall rather far (about 2") as it needs room for the pendulum to swing.
