Upholstered Chairs

Last year, I purchased the set consisting of a sofa, love seat and one wing chair. We recently purchased another house with a larger living room, which allowed space for another wing chair. I was concerned that the new chair would not match the older chair, but it did. My only complaint is that we had trouble getting the screws that attach the feet to the chair to screw in, even with a power tool. We eventually had to have our handiman attach them for us using different screws and a more powerful power tool. QUICK LOWDOWN: My husband and I looked EVERYWHERE for a comfortable, practical, and affordable glider for our first child's nursery. As the headline states...THIS IS IT! I will admit I was originally hesitant to buy online since I couldn't get an actual fabric sample, or sit in it, but overall we're very pleased.PRODUCT DETAILS: Has a wonderfully high, cushy back, firm seat, and nice padded arms at just the right height, so we both rank it 5 stars in comfort. It works magically with the matching gliding ottoman too! ;) I would recommend this particular style for the removable seat cushion since it's nice to have another fully upholstered side to flip it over if necessary. This chair also swivels, which we didn't know when we bought it, but are very pleased with.[...] because the chair frame was light enough to be carried up a pretty steep staircase (by just my husband) and fit right into our smaller sized room. The actual color seems to be a few shades brighter than displayed online though. It's still a tasteful green, just not exactly the color I was expecting given the swatch shown on this site.CONS: Our only negative comment is that we expected the quality of fabric to be a few grades better. We selected the color, Camelot Pistachio which we assumed would be made from a durable twill/canvas fabric, but instead feels much lighter causing us to have concern about easily staining and quickly showing wear and tear. In fact, the back is already showing wrinkling (it arrived yesterday) when we get in and out of it, so we remedied by placing a small pillow in the lower back area to try and prevent. We may also buy the fabric protectant, but if not, it's nice to know there is the option to just slipcover the whole thing later on down the road....OVERALL: Nice job LITTLE CASTLE and Wayfair for making a cute and super comfortable chair available at an affordable price. This chair is very elegant looking in person and adds a distinct level of couture to its surroundings (I think due to the rich shades of coloring of the cushions, and its unique shape). I must say, though, that you literally have to pick it up in order to move/rearrange it because the underside makes it very difficult to simply slide/push it across the floor. I actually laid it on its side and rolled it across the carpet like a wheel.) However, I was VERY pleased with the appearance upon placing it in my neutral-toned (cream-colored) family room--it really gave the room that extra punch needed to take it from "nice" to "wow." Everyone that sees this chair HAS to sit in it and, of course, give it a twirl. Speaking of the "twirl" I only gave the chair 4 stars because it does not swivel a full 360 degrees, which for me was disappointing because I had assumed that it did (based on a similar swivel chair I had seen elsewhere). It only goes around about three-quarters of the way to the left and to the right, but you'll LOVE it just the same. This is such a fun chair. I love it. It is so comfortable. The pillows and fabric are so soft. The way the chair can swivle is great because you can position yourself anywhere to talk to someone. It does have casters, but I decided I didn't want them on. The chair could have been packaged a little better. Nothing was broken, but I could see one getting damanaged. I spent a little more than I wanted, but the chair is well constructed and it was worth it."..."  Read more
