This chair is very elegant looking in person and adds a distinct level of couture to its surroundings (I think due to the rich shades of coloring of the cushions, and its unique shape). I must say, though, that you literally have to pick it up in order to move/rearrange it because the underside makes it very difficult to simply slide/push it across the floor. I actually laid it on its side and rolled it across the carpet like a wheel.) However, I was VERY pleased with the appearance upon placing it in my neutral-toned (cream-colored) family room--it really gave the room that extra punch needed to take it from "nice" to "wow." Everyone that sees this chair HAS to sit in it and, of course, give it a twirl. Speaking of the "twirl" I only gave the chair 4 stars because it does not swivel a full 360 degrees, which for me was disappointing because I had assumed that it did (based on a similar swivel chair I had seen elsewhere). It only goes around about three-quarters of the way to the left and to the right, but you'll LOVE it just the same. Sitting in it is like getting a great big ole bear hug every time; yum!"..."
