This chair doesn't take up a lot of floor space at all compared to the regular Papasan chairs. I'm 5'4" and for me, it's low enough to the ground where my legs can comfortably hang out the front. Because it's so space efficient, it's not large enough to completely curl into (unless you're a kid) but I can definitely nap quite comfortably in it, watch tv, whatever. It will rarely if ever be used but it looks good in a corner of a retromodern bedroom., i.e., more decorative than utilitarian. Fills the bill at a reasonable price."
