Upholstered Chairs

I ordered this chair for my teenaged son's room. He plays video games and guitar and need something more supportive to sit on besides his bed. He is 6'2", 260 lbs. and needed something to accomodate his size as well as provide a comfortable area to do the two things he loves most. The shape and size of the chair are perfect, though it could use a little firmer padding. He is able to stretch out and shift positions comfortably and without arms it is perfect for playing the guitar. When I first brought it home he acted like it was the worst chair ever made, but after a few days he came back and retracted his initial statement and said, "thanks mom, for the great chair!" Use:These chairs are in use in a vacation home where we rest and relax. Pros:As mentioned, with a pillow and low footrest the rocker is comfortable. This is a very nice chair that fits perfectly in our family room. It was very easy to assemble and arrived in perfect condition. I bought it to coordinate with a microfiber/leatherette sofa I have and it works great. It's just the right size and sits comfortably. It's not cushy but not firm either -- somewhere in between.
