Lydia the old cook from TX	2.0 1/16/2011 Suction clamp not great I am disappointed with the suction cup which does not adhere to the counter and so the unit has to be held with my hand while trying to turn the handle with the other. It does a fairly good job of peeling apples that are of a round shape. Was this helpful? Yes / No
AMB from SLC, UT	1.0 9/5/2010 Apples? Maybe. Potatoes? No. I bought this with the intention of using it as a potato peeler. The suction base doesn't stay put no matter what I do. The peeler peels off way too much and is wasteful. Even adjusted to the thinnest it still takes off a lot. And removing the potato from the skewer...dangerous (since the suction doesn't keep the peeler in place). With having to constantly readjust and try and steady the peeler it was easier and faster for me to get out my regular old potato peeler. It might work better for apples, I don't know. But the description on the product states it is ideal for apples or potatoes. I disagree. Was this helpful? Yes / No
