LifeSaver for Heavy Rain
Donna from Philadelphia, PA – Verified Buyer
My backyard use to get a few inches of standing water during heavy rain, so I dug a round hole about 3 foot deep added some stones to the bottom of the hole then took a large bucket ( I got after buying a large tree) drilled holes all around the bucket and put it in the ground, I made the hole a little wider then the bucket to add small stones all around the sides. The float does not activate until there is 6" of water but I called the manufacture and he advised me to use a cable tie to attach the float lower and it works like a charm. Very happy with this choice.. does not clog when grass or other debris get in and I will be ordering a garden bridge to cover the hole.

These pumps are great! We have used them for the past 6 years. They are sturdy and light weight easy to handle. And, super easy to operate just plug in and go. However, I would recommend using a GFCI between the power source and the pump to prevent the possibility of an electrical shock. We use these in all types of locations in our facility/plant. They have plenty of power for getting the water out of our low spots & pits and getting it diverted to a different elevation. Will be looking to buying more of these later in the future.

This pump works great for emptying the silt out of our pond. It is well made. Pros: Nice well made pump Cons: It does get bogged down a little in dense silt. I have to shake it and wipe the bottom off once in awhile.

I have a few of these and they are spectacular. I use them to move several thousands of gallons of water everyday, and there has been zero sign of failure.

this pump worked really well cleaning out rainwater from a water trough that I have. It emptied it in just a few minutes and it ran so quietly that I did not realize it was working until I saw the water level going down.

There was about 1 to 2 feet of water in the crawl space under my house and the pump drained the water which also had all kinds of dirt and old insulation and mud very quickly. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
