I got it because my prior set was too heavy, had no steam vents & I don't cook like I used to. If you're looking for something inexpensive & lightweight, then this is for you. However, I don't know if it's going to last many years, like a heavier, more expensive set would. For efficiency it works, the steam vents keep liquids from boil-over & the light blue glass lids are unique & beautiful. Was this helpful? Yes / No
