Perfect everytime I have been using this yogurt maker for more than a 2 years now and never had a batch fail. I make Greek yogurt in Quart Jars and the high dome lid. So very worth the few hours wait and I know what is in my yogurt. Plain, favored or used for cooking it is a of great benefit to ones heath. |

Waste of time and money I have had this yogurt maker for several weeks, and after a dozen tries have still not had satisfactory yogurt. Variables don't seem to matter -- even warming the milk slightly and running 12 hours has produced nothing but a watery, tasteless glop. O am very, very dissatisfied with this useless product. |

Versatile and simple. We use the YoLife at least once a week to make plain yogurt. It works far better than our previous yogurt maker and is more versatile. With the open warming bed we can use any size jar or bowl. It is easy to keep clean with the sealed base, the jars and covers pop right into the dishwasher. The only shortcoming, the tall lid is a little too tall for half-pint mason jars--more heat is lost than saved and it takes longer to "cook" or a small towel is needed over the top, while the short lid doesn't fit over them at all. Otherwise, a wonderful product at a great price. |

Works great! I've used this yogurt maker about 4 times and have had excellent results. I had to troubleshoot my yogurt recipe to get a nice consistancy, but once I figured it out, it is great. The yogurt does taste like plain you buy in the store, but if you add fresh fruit to it, you don't notice the sourness. I heat the milk (I've tried 1% and whole milk with 1/4 cup of powdered milk per cup of liquid milk to make it creamier) to 185 F, let it cool to 105 F then whisk in about a tablespoon of starter per jar of yogurt I want to make. Pour into the jars and let it incubate overnight. It is best if you refridgerate it before eating. |

very good product. The best things about this product is that you can use any jar beside the jars that come with the machine; and to have the yogurt not sour I use the machine for 5 hrs intead of 6 or 8 hours, I will reccomend this product to all that love yogurt. I use regular yogurt as starter and the yogurt is perfect. |

too hot This machine heated my incubating milk to 110 degrees F. But I was trying to make 100% Lactobaciullus acidophilus yougurt, which needs 100-1o3 degrees. Result: a messy thickish milk after several hours or longer, but no yogurt. |

The Best I absolutely love this yogurt maker! It comes with 2 lids for making large or small batches. I use the large lid and use 2 Quart or 4 pint canning jars with the plastic lids you can purchase where ever canning supplies are sold. I make some every week. |

gets lots of use I am new at yogurt making and this product is giving me a great experience. Lots of recipes included as a jumping off point. You can use your own larger jars too. |
