Train Sets & Train Tables

I looked at lots of train tables and choose this one bc it had the nicest table. Its not too hard to put together, I did it by myself without my Husband but it is heavy so may make it hard for some. My son loves it and he is 2 and I think he will enjoy playing with it for a few years. Lots of pieces (cars, trains, boat, helicopter, air plane, people, and more) and the drawer holds lots of toys not just the train stuff. We have it in the living room and it doesn't look that bad bc its a nice table. The train track and trains and such could be a little nicer but overall we are happy. I bought this train set as a birthday gift for my two-year-old twins. The table itself is solid, and I love the fact that the corners are rounded, which lessen the chance for injury when my toddlers are playing. So many train tables have squared off corners, so this was a great find. While the description reads 3+ for the age range, my two-year-olds can still play well with the set, although I'm sure their interest and abilities will grow as they get older. This table comes with a full train set, and many other accessories, including a moving crane. The tracks are compatible with the Thomas tracks my twins already have - a big plus. I chose this table in part because of this. And the storage bins keep everything contained, instead of all over my living room. I got this for my son's 3rd birthday. it is very nice, pretty sturdy and was easy to assemble. he loves it. now that it's been only 12 days since I have it one of the corner of the train side of the board is pealing already. he only play with the train side of the board. He tried the lego side and did not like it because the pieces are small and he had a hard time with them. my daughter will be five in 2 months and she loves to do the lego side. I guess my son will enjoy the legos as he gets older. I think I may need to request for a replacement board though that is the reason i did not give it a five star. if I purchase a gift for a kid that cost over $100 it needs to hold up to usage and the train side of the board does not look that way."..."  Read more

We bought this train table for our 4-year old son for Christmas. He had lots of train stuff, but no where to play with it except the floor. He now uses this for his trains,cars and even his new Geotrax Airport. It looks good and was SO easy to assemble. I especially love the trundle drawers for all of his toys.
