Kathryn Thomas from New Smyrna Beach, FL	4.0 7/16/2012 Not environmentally perfect, but a good board Bamboo is a renewable and sustainable resource, so if you are concerned about that, it's a good choice for a cutting board. The boards are not a single piece of material, but glued together and there's still some discussion about the formaldehyde used in the glue that hold them together...but what are you going to do? They're nice, and it beats a plastic cutting surface. Was this helpful? Yes / No
