I received the 7pc. Garage Storage System on a rainy day in October by Yellow Trucking. The 7 boxes were strapped on a pallet and shrink wrapped but I discovered one of the boxes to be damaged. The packaging strap wore through the box and rubbed on one of the doors. Damage in shipping is not an uncommon event when an item as large as this is shipped across country. I noted the damage with the shipper and called Wayfair to report that one of the doors was marred. Customer service was very helpful on the phone and asked me to photograph the mared door and e-mail the photo to them. All the other parts and pieces were in perfect condition. While unpacking the first thing you will notice is that every part was packaged beautifully and was well protected. The next thing you will notice is the quality of every element of the cabinets. The weight and the finish of each part tells you that this is a well engineered and carefully manufactured product. The hardware is carefully packed and clearly labeled. The instructions are simple and clear. Construction of the units went easily with simple tools. I used a hand phillips screwdriver as well as a battery operated screwdriver. A rubber mallet is helpful to have near to fit some of the parts together. Tolerances are close and precise. The finished product was sturdy and tight. The work station table top is very heavy and just as solid. It's mar resistant surface makes it a solid workbench. The only reason I did not give this product 5 stars was because of the pins that hold the shelves up. The pins in my opinion are too small to support the large shelves in the tall 2 door cabinet. I replaced the smaller pins with larger L shaped pins which I had to drill the 3/16" existing holes enlarging them into a 1/4" hole. The L-pins which you can get at any hardware store worked well in supporting the large shelves. I recommended to customer service that they incorporate my modification in the larger 2 door tall cabinet. The set looks beautiful in my garage workshop and has afforded me a tremendous amount of storage space for my tools and supplies. The 7 pc. Ulti-Mate Garage Storage System is a great value and I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a sturdy storage/work space solution for your shop or garage."..."  Read more

I'm using the base with a left and right single door units under a six foot window in the garage and together they makes a good work surface. I'm using 3 of the storage cabinets with toppers on one side of these 3-pieces and 2 of the storage cabinets with toppers on the other side. I have never had such great storage in my garage and looks very professional. To get all the pieces to fit tight against each other, it was necessary to counter-sink the mounting screws on the sides for a flush fit."..."  Read more

I bought these after searching for suitable storage for my basement/rec room area. These cabinets are fairly easy to assemble and offer a large amount of storage. I was finally able to get all the toys, games, etc. off of the floor. The ability to adjust the feet to level the cabinets is great. Bolt the big ones to the wall, as they are very heavy and could tip. Be careful assembling, as it is easy to mar the finish. Overall, I am pretty happy with these and will be buying another set for my garage when I am ready to fix that up."..."  Read more
