I bought this to replace my previous toilet and macerator pump (due to quality issues). Saniflo product is much better quality. Tank internal hardware comes pre-installed. Macerator pump is solid and runs quietly (I bought the extension pipe and located it behind the wall in my utility room). I recommend using better rubber feet than those provided. I bought "grippers" pads and cut to size. Macerator comes with 2 couplers for hook-up to sink and shower. One adapts to 1 1/2 inch PVC and the other to 2 inch PVC. Both of mine used 1 1/2 inch PVC so I had to transition one to 2 inch PVC. I probably could have just bought a 2 x 1 1/2 flex coupler instead. Toilet bowl hole pattern on downloadable manual is wrong. Drawing says 7 inches apart where actual is 8 inches apart. Instructions could be better written but since I was replacing hardware, I was already oriented on how things should go. I'm an amateur but had little problem with installation."..."  Read more

I converted my basement into a pub and pool space and needs a bathroom on that level. This system is a great total solution to lift water from a sink and toilet up to a sewer tie in. No holes to dig, no complicated pump to install. This is a great product because it's all in one. The instructions are pretty clear with the exception of how to attach the seat. Some rocket scientist must have designed the hardware as there lots of plastic parts and pieces included but no instructions for attaching. This clearly is a weakness. Another consideration is the pump system seems to lag before actuating and lifting water. I have this system connected to a sink and the water drains slow until the pump kicks in. It's not instant and that's kind of annoying. The system is also loud. Overall, it's a great value because of ease of installation and the price is more than fair for a pump and toilet. It also sits right on the floor and only needs a regular power outlet to power the system. Make sure you run piping properly with downward slope to drain to the pump. We are going to add an air pipe to the drain because it is slow to drain. I just wish the pump worked faster. It detects water and turns on when it's ready which I think can be improved in this area."..."  Read more

I had some reservations on this because there weren't a ton of reviews. However, if installed properly the system works extremely well. The bowl itself is very high quality but take note that it does not have an actual seat included. Would have given 5 stars but the macerator is very loud. Just don't flush this thing at night when there are other people sleeping nearby."..."  Read more

Gravity Flush - These are the most common; when the toilet is flushed, gravity pulls water from the tank to wash the bowl.

Pressure-Assisted - These use the pressure in your water lines to compress air in a pressure tank, which is released along with the water when the toilet is flushed. This is a more forceful flush often clears the bowl better than some gravity toilets, but can be noisy, and requires a minimum household pressure of 25 psi.

Vacuum-Assisted - These have a chamber in the tank that pulls air out of the trap beneath the bowl to suck water downward with more force.

Dual-Flush - These toilets are most often gravity toilets, and have both a half-flush and a full-flush option. Some have two buttons or a split button on the top, others have a traditional flush lever that can be pushed up or down to vary the flush volume.
