Toilets

We couldn't me more pleased with our new toilet. It looks great and is like nothing we've seen in the regular stores. There was one reviewer who commented on the toilet seat being fragile, which I can totally see, so I've taken that into consideration and been cautious to not sit on the lid when it's closed. Was sold by the looks and lines of the toilet. Slightly noisier than I would like and wish it had a dual flush control. There are absolutely no markings about the brand name or where it is manufactured and I can not find any info about the manufacturer online. Also the toilet stopper flap is larger than the usual found in the USA. They are availale, but not the usual. We tried to find a conversion to dual flush, but the flap on the conversion was too small. Don't think we can change the seat without removing the toilet!!!! That's not good. If the seat holds up and water restrictions don't become more severe I guess it will be alright. A bit pricey, but I do like how it looks. Only been installed for a few weeks in a secondary bathroom. Pros: Looks very beautiful and functional. Excellent price too. FYI: I have another Ariel toilet purchased 3 years ago and the water valve inside the tank stopped functioning two months ago. I could not find the replacement part anywhere. But finally, I took it apart and cleaned it and put it back and it started working."..."  Read more

Very sleek style that adds a touch of elegance to my small bathroom. It doesn't take up a lot of space,(installed where my old shower stall used to be) yet comfortable to use for a person of my size (6' /200lbs) The contractor had some difficulty putting it in.
