I am a paraplegic and use the seat for my daily bowel program.
It fits most toilets... WITH THE ADDITION OF A FEW TARP STRAPS TO KEEP IT IN PLACE. The seat has been my faithful traveling companion for several years and can be secured to most toilets by using the tarp straps.
The clamps provided with the seat are virtually useless; I have yet to find a toilet that is compatible with them; they cannot be screwed tight enough to hold the seat firmly on the toilet. Their only value is providing a location for the s-hooks on the tarp straps.
The least compatible toilets are those in Montana where the standard "handicap accessible" seat does not work for me and is designed so that straps cannot be attached... go figure.
