I ordered this for my nearly three year old daughter. She really liked it, and my five year old son thought it was pretty cool too. The pieces are nice and sturdy, and the activities are perfect for the preschool set. This would make a great little set to take along to grandma's or the doctor's office. There aren't enough pieces of the "locktagons" to build anything huge, but for a little one just interested in figuring how to stick them together, they're fine. I was happy with this product. I purchased this set of alphabet magnets for my toddler. She's still young for the alphabet, but loves magnets and soon we'll be starting on learning her letters. The bright colors attract her attention and will help to keep her interest as we begin to learn her letters. The only reason this product didn't get 5 stars is because I wish they were just a bit more durable. As the chunky letters are sturdy, I have noticed that some of the color has scratched off if my child attempts to stick it on the magnet board on the wrong side. A laminated coating would be great. This toy is another great toy for gross motor skills and development. Included with the bear are a lot of diferent outfits and matching accessories that are to be laced onto the bear to dress her up. I think the lacing feature helps kids with gross motor skills. The age recomendations are for ages 4 years and older but my daughter still gets a lot of fun from it at age nine! My daughter also has learning disabilites and even at her age, she still needs help with gross motor skills and this toy is helpful in that area.
