We love the animal nesting blocks. They are sturdy and very colorful. They feature pictures of many different animals so that is an educational bonus. This fun water table was easy to assemble; even my two year old son helped! The design is simple and fun. The included accessories added to the fun: the water wheel, the pouring bucket, and the two small boats. We added a boat and some shovels to enhance the water play fun. Filling the water table is simple with the garden hose and dumping out the water is just as easy. The table is generally sturdy for one child to climb on to it, but would probably capsize if more than one toddler climbed on. My only complaint is that the included boats are extremely flimsy and broke with normal play. We were able to glue it back together, but with the history of good quality toys from Step 2, I expected a sturdier made boat. I set this water table up next to our sand box and found that the two toys work well together with a child's imagination. I love the durability of the strong wood that Mellisa & Doug use in their educational toys. This is a perfect toy for beginning readers who are just starting to take an interest in spelling. The letters are durable, the colors are vibrant and the fun doesn't stop with the premade word forms, my son began creating his own words along the side.
