I looked at a wide range of one- and two-cup brewers and finds this one fits my needs the best. No expensive 'pods' or 'k-cups' to try and find to buy and no complicated steps to brew. Pour in the water, scoop in the coffee with the included measure, set the cup or cups in place, and turn it on. There's only two controls. A selector on the top (one or two cup brew) and the power switch. One of the important things about this coffee brewer is you don't get grounds in your cup. Since each cup has a separate filter basket, you can brew two different flavors of coffee at the same time, or a cup of coffee and a cup of tea. Good coffee, too

I received the brewer in good time. I did have to contact the manufacturer, however. The hinge pin on one of the doors was broken. However, after sending an e-mail to them, I got an immediate response from them and received a replacement door within a few days. Very pleased with Toastess for their quick response.

Two coffee drinkers in family; one strictly de-caf. and the other stricktly full caf., so this coffee maker sounded like a great idea. Downsides: 1).Marking & instructions for one or two cups confusing. Serves one cup on the side that the markings say 2 cups. 2). Kind of expected that the cups would be stainless steel on the inside, but are plastic. 3). Can't remove cup, coffee filter or filter holder without something leaking or dripping. 4). You do have to heat the cups before filling with coffee or the coffee will not be hot. 5). Water reservoir markings aren't exactly accurate. 6). I guess all in all you get what you pay for. I should have done more checking before buying this product; but the price was very reasonable and I figured it was worth the gamble. I'm not totally put off by the product but I'll have to develop a method and practice to make the whole thing work without so much hassle (as mentioned from 1-5 above).

Good communication from CSN on shipping and delivery notices. Delivered when promised. Product was packaged well and there was no damage in shipping and handling.

I use this maker every morning. It is great because you can make two cups at a time or just 1. Easy to use & read. It's kind of noisy while it brews. Love the insulated cups.

This is a really great coffee maker for those that don't always drink a whole lot. You can make a mug of coffee and a mug of tea at the same time. Or two different drinks at the same time. The travel mugs are fairly large so you get quite a bit in one mug. The liquid is hot and stays hot in the mugs. Really easy to clean too! No more disposible filters! The filters are reusable...they look like little baskets that you can drop your tea or coffee into. When you're done, dump in trash and rinse out and that's it! Overall we really love it. We didn't purchase this here but we have this exact same brand.
