Thorndike Mills Pioneer Valley II Buckskin Braided Rug - 1595/74

We bought this for our living room. We have hard wood floors and wanted a rugged braided rug for the center of the room. We have a Golden Retriever and a King Charles Cavalier. So this rug will get a lot of chances for wear. Although, we haven't had this for that long, my husband and I are very pleased with the quality. This is very important when the living room is in use all the time. I recommend this to anyone who is looking for a well made braided rug made in the USA.

We purchased two of these rugs for our dog to lay on either in front of the fireplace or in the hallway in front of the front door. He knows these are the spaces he can lay if he wants to be in the house...they are working out very well.

Delivery was prompt and the rugs arrived in perfect condition. The colors go very well with our new carpeting.

This is a less expensive version of Thorndike Mills' braided rug, and it has, so far, been great. I have it in a hallway, where it gets a fair amount of traffic, and it looks and behaves well in that spot.

Upon delivery we immediately placed this rug in our dining room and it rolled out beautifully, very little curling (that disappeared by the next day) and looks fabulous under the dining room table. Quality is clear. Our granddaughter spilled yogurt and it cleaned up like a breeze, as if it were a hardwood floor! Very happy with this rug. Left off one star only because the color is a little different from appearance in the picture. It still works though!

My new round braided rug is exactly what I wanted for this area.

We were surprised to find an American-made rug of high (apparent) quality and within our price range.[...] The rug fits our decor exactly, and the size range was much more flexible than we had seen in some other catalogues, allowing us to customize it to our space exactly. The rug's colors are exactly as shown on the website, the sizing is true to the description, and the stitching appears secure[...], I cannot yet rate its long-term durability, stain resistance, pet-friendliness, or ease-of-cleaning, but I can say we have high hopes based on what we've seen so far.

I purchased 2 different sizes of the round and the matching hallway size. The large round one is in my kitchen and pulls the room together perfectly. The smaller round one is in my side door entry way coming into the kitchen and they accent each other wonderfully. The hallway one is around the corner, so all three pull the whole area together with the combination of floor, curtains and wall colors. Love them, love them, love them!!!! I'm so thrilled I found the color combination and the price I felt I could afford.
