About the Designer
Thomas Paul United States
Thomas Paul was born and raised in New York City. He got his start in the fashion business working as an intern at DKNY in the mid-nineties after graduating from New York's Fashion Institute of Technology with a degree in textile design. While working as a colorist and designer for a silk mill specializing in neckwear and scarves, he worked on neckwear collections for such designers as Bill Blass, Calvin Klein, and DKNY. This eventually led to the creation of his neckwear collection, the short-lived digitizes in the late 90's.

Love all of Thomas Paul's designs and this is not exception. Nice pile on the rug. A good choice for low traffic areas.

I love this rug because of the unique pattern/design - definitely catches people's attention, particularly since it sits under a glass-top dining room table. Nice chocolate brown and cream color. Good quality rug, though not as good as some hand-tufted rugs I have seen. Other reviewers have mentioned problems with pilling of rug - I have not noticed this myself, but could see that happening, as it can sort of 'shed' - because of this, I would not purchase this to use in any high-traffic area.
