About Thomas Lighting
Thomas' roots in the lighting industry date back to 1919, when Henrick Moe founded Moe Brothers Co. to manufacture residential lighting fixtures.
This is the company that Lee B. Thomas acquired in 1948, changing the name to Thomas Industries in 1953. In 1998 the Genlyte Group Inc. and the Lighting Group of Thomas Industries Inc. joined forces to create a powerful new entity, positioned as one of the largest lighting manufacturers in North America.
Building on their long and distinguished history in the lighting industry, Thomas Lighting is committed to meeting residential lighting needs.

Beatuiful product, [...] [...] it is a very pretty fixture. Excellent quality among our favorite of the many fixtures we bought for our custom house. We mounted two fixtures in our downstairs entry hall, and they provide very adequate and beautiful light. |

it works! easy to install, nice solid light with cage so kids can't easily break glass on light. looks clean for a pirate/boat theme room.... |

not for wet locations! this light is a bit big but i ordered it because it said it was suitable for wet locations. other wet location fixtures i have bought had a gasket or seal around where the base meets the ceiling and where the glass meets the base. this has neither so really, unless it's under a large overhang and there's no chance of it getting wet (even foggy) then it's probably ok. i am using this for a bath shower stall with high ceilings. i was told anything "wet" rated would work but i've ended up using a thin weather stripping to seal the base and glass. it works fine. |

Item is OK Looks good and is very bright due to double light. The four screws that hold the bezel are difficult to screw in and makes changing bulbs difficult. May require two people to change; one to unscrew bolts and one to hold onto the glass. |

Good exterior light Overall the light looks nice and works well. Unforseen problem is that it has a small gap around the bottom bezzel and lower glass of the light that allows bugs/moths attracted to the light to wedge themselves in (and die). I've found it necessary to use a broom to sweep them out about every other day. Not a big deal but worth noting if the light will be mounted in a hard to reach location. |

Great Value for a Great Lamp I had been looking for an inexpensive yet nice-looking lamp in brushed nickel, and this was the best value I found. I was a little skeptical at first b/c the price was so much lower than many of the other lamps I had seen. Well, I have to say... this lamp surpassed my expectations. I had my electrician install it with a light sensor so I don't have to worry about turning it on and off. It looks great and works like a charm! I'm extremely pleased with my purchase. |

Review The light looks nice. The accessibility to change a bulb is difficult. The product markings, shipping container markings and label, and invoice provide no indications of the light being rated for outdoor use. As a result, the County's Inspector had no evidence/proof that it met the code requirements. |
