Dining Room: Functional Entertaining

When renovating
their new house, these homeowners didn't see a need for a first floor study. Instead, they converted the area into a functional room for casual dining and entertaining, equipped with a niche for their home bar (not pictured).

A gray striped area rug grounds the eclectic use of pattern and color throughout the room. A traditional lighting fixture and dining table are a nod to the home's classic character. Wing back chairs in a fun pattern greet guests and add height around the table. And no entertaining space is complete without a vase full of fresh flowers.
