Perfect for a sunny room even on a cold day.
Cat from SoCal, CA– Verified Buyer
I love these curtains. They are a quality curtain; substantial weight without being heavy, hang beautifully and really keep out the cold. I'm assuming from the thermal properties that when it is hot in summer it will make a difference too. Love the fact that they actually pay for themselves by reducing heating and cooling costs. They block the light and glare well, they have a great feel to them very much like Pottery Barn's tab tops. They also are great for privacy at night especially if you are watching TV on a larger wall mounted screen.
Good curtains, but the dimensions are misleading
Elizabeth from Canajoharie, NY– Verified Buyer
I am quite happy with the curtains, but when I bought them there was an incorrect product Q&A saying that each panel was the width described. I bought the 80"x160" wide curtains for a large window in our dining room, which turns out to be two 80" wide panels, as opposed to the two 160" wide curtains I was expecting.
No longer freezing in my room.
Laura from Somerville, MA– Verified Buyer
I purchased these curtains to help keep my room warm and to reduce heating costs. And they work! My room requires less heat to get and stay warm. Another bonus is that they keep my room dark since they block the sun and lighting from outside, like streetlights. The color I purchased was terracotta. I'm planning on purchasing more of these curtains for my living room to help keep the whole apartment warm.
Exactly What I Needed
Amanda from Louisville, KY– Verified Buyer
Our house was built in the 1950's and we still have the original windows. Due to the cold winter, I wanted to do something about the draftiness but not spend too much money. These curtains are perfect and I find the khaki color to be the perfect neutral for our home. It still allows a little light in which I enjoy and I think our house feels a tad warmer!
Perfect Addition to my drafty, old windows!
Heidi from Saint Louis, MO– Verified Buyer
The aubergine color is exactly what I have been searching for! I live in a 96 year old building with old, drafty windows...and lots of them! So I needed not only blackout curtains for my room, but some energy efficient, thermal ones as well. These curtains are amazing! They look and feel nice and are a great addition to my walls. They've helped insulate my windows to the point that I do not feel a draft coming from them anymore. I did my research on these types of curtains and don't think you can beat the quality and price of the weathermate.

Its a great curtain just don't put it in the dryer to get the wrinkles out. It shrunk a lot, and I had to take out the seam to make up for the lost length. Great Curtain and Great price though.
Terracotta shams--not drapes
willisocala from Ocala, FL– Verified Buyer
Recently purchased the Croscill Yosemite comforter which matched the Weathermate Terracotta curtains I previously purchased. Tried to find matching terracotta material to sew shams, With no luck, I ordered another small pair of matching Weathermate curtains and made my own shams. A little imagination and my sewing machine. Now the bedroom is coordinated. Only issue with the curtains is getting out the wrinkles (had to first wash and iron).
Draft protecting drapes
Kathleen from Sarver, PA– Verified Buyer
Color and size were perfect for our large farmhouse windows. Should be a little toaster this winter! Drapes had to be presses as they were extremely wrinkled. Color was as advertised and looks great with my warm gold walls..

Definitely good for blocking out light, but I noticed when the curtains are closed in the day time, there are small scratches somewhere in the material so light shines through. Doesn't really bother me since I open them in the daytime and you can't see it at night. Might have been damaged in shipping, but overall I like the curtains.
Sana from Brooklyn, NY– Verified Buyer
I bought two pairs of these curtains for my windows in the bedroom and the guest bedroom. Due to the size of my windows, I was able to use one panel on each window! I love that these curtains block light and they also appear to help a little with infiltration. I am very happy with my purchase. I would recommend these to anyone looking for simple and easy to use curtains that are also budget friendly!
