My problem is that I have four cats and after one week and much coaxing, only one cat will get on it The shelves are a bit narrow and the positioning of them makes maneuvering from one to the other optimal from only one direction. The one cat who will get on the tree jumps directly from the middle shelf to the floor because he doesnt feel safe moving from the middle shelf to the lowest one, which is a bit far of a jump onto hardwood floors. Although it looks great and the removable carpet is a great idea, it would be better if the shelves were wider and the openings a bit larger. I have now had this tree for over a month and although two of my cats will get in the bottom section, there is still only one cat who will venture up onto the tree. Was this helpful? Yes / No
