The DiversiTech ''Original'' Grill Pad is a low-cost solution to safeguarding decks, patios and porches from unsightly stains, grease marks and errant sparks that could damage or destroy these surfaces. This lightweight, quarter inch thick pad of flexible fiber cement is so durable it will outlast many grills. It is fire and stain resistant, and can be cleaned up easily with a garden hose. The material ''breathes'' to minimize water buildup beneath the pad, which can cause stains and mildew. This is a common problem with many deck protectors because they retain water or excessive moisture underneath.

Now when we drop oily liquid in front of our cooking area, it falls on the barbecue pad. Much better than trying to get up the oil spots off the bluestone! Best part is the choice of colors.
