I needed a cover for my 8" Dobsonian telescope so that I would not have to store it in the house while not using it (not weatherproof). This cover fits perfectly over the telescope, and with its elastic base opening (and bottom-clasped drawstring), it closes snuggly around the 4 wheel cart base it is mounted on. This cover has a heavy, yet, flexible weight, thanks to the Oxford 600 denier material, and with an interior waterproof coating the instrument stays dry in our summer rains. It is supposed to be a flexible material in the colder Winter temperatures; I hope to find out in a few months. Nothing but praise for this product and I'm looking forward to years of use.
