Product Details

Features:

Surface mounted transformer
Available in black, chrome, satin nickel, white and antique bronze finishes
This dual feed surface transformer converts standard 120 volt line voltage to 12 volts to provide the necessary voltage for powering a Kable Lite system
It can power lamps totaling up to 600 watts
The transformer is concealed inside a decorative housing equipped with two fast acting secondary circuit breakers that will safely turn off the system should a short occur
Once the short has been removed the breaker can be reset
This product can mount to either a standard 4" square electrical box with round plaster ring or an octagon electrical box (not included)
Isolating connectors (included) isolate the two power feeds from each other
Dimmable with a 1000 watt low voltage magnetic dimmer
The dimmer is placed on the line side of the transformer (Consult dimmer manufacturer for specifics)
This surface transformer includes a preinstalled debuzzing dimming coil to reduce audible noise when using a low voltage dimmer
The shortest rigid standoff that can be used with this surface transformer is the 5" rigid post standoff (sold separately)
