They were packed in a way that no damage was apparent. These bookends are adorable but not very heavy to hold many books. I would also like to see some painted flowers in the grass and maybe a mouth on the elephant and girraff. I would add a tiny bit of pink or purple somewhere, like in the flowers, or on one of the alphabets so it could also go with a girls room. Was this helpful? Yes / No
