Nice design, could use some tweaks. from Albany, NY on 07/23/2014 – Verified Buyer
This is an attractive rack with some well thought-out features. However, the design doesn't quite rise to the level of "brilliant".

Mounting on the wall was straightforward, even with not much in the way of instructions. You can attach the two brackets to the wall independently, making it not so bad if one of your stud locations isn't spot on. I should note, however, that the top screw holes are angled downward. This helps optimize the force vectors preventing the rack from being pulled out of the wall--most of the load is on the top screws. I picked up on this right away. If someone didn't, and came up with some method of transferring the screw holes onto the wall assuming they were straight, they could be in for an unpleasant surprise. A brief note in the instructions could eliminate this possibility.

When the end screws holding the rails together are tightened it tends to cause the rails to bow apart. Also, a heavy enough load on a hook in the center could cause the rails to bow. The portion of the hook that rides on top of the rails is very large and unlikely to pull through. However, the swivel hooks will come apart with too much bowing which, depending on how heavy or fragile the thing hanging on it is, could be a disaster. To prevent this, I used stacks of washers to ease the tension on the rails when tightening the end screws. I also ran a wood screw between the rails in the center with another stack of washers for a spacer, dividing it into two much more rigid sections. The kludginess of the stacks of washers is completely invisible to the casual, observer, and being unable to slide a hook through the center isn't a serious limitation to me. A much simpler solution would be only to use the swivel hooks at the very ends, or not use them at all since they are rarely required.

I later realized the "end hooks" could serve the same function as the stacks of washers, and also provide me with more hook space. But these end hooks are not sold by Wayfair, even though they are shown on one of their illustrations.

The design of the hooks themselves is impressive. They frequently allow one-handed hanging without falling off the rails like simple s-hooks can (the s-hooks are one of my main deterrents from justifying the expense of the Encloumb racks).

Someone suggested groves on the top shelf for propping up lids. But with the undersized shelf centered on the brackets--you have freedom here--I find the lids tuck nicely in either the front or back spaces.

If the issues I mentioned were addressed--which they could be fairly simply-- I would promote this to "a brilliant design".

A simple, purposeful pot rack from Amherst, NH on 12/15/2013 – Verified Buyer
I bought this same pot rack 25 years ago. No jumble of pots - everything in its place. I bought my new pot rack to sit beside the original, thus doubling my available space. I had looked at several other styles but kept coming back to the one that has served me best. I have added a groove to the top board (you cannot see it in this photo) for pot lids.

Taylor Ng Track Rack Wall Pot Rack from Panama City, FL on 10/06/2013 – Verified Buyer
We'd been looking a long time for a wall rack for our copper pots and finally hit the jackpot! This rack is sturdy, its simplicity looks great, and it was easy to hang. The shelf supports are nice and fully support the shelf. The hooks can be moved for variable spacing to accommodate the size of the pans. This was a great find for us, and we could not be happier.

Excellent high quality product. Ive bought these for my last three houses. Beautiful and useful! from El Cajon, CA on 01/20/2015 – Verified Buyer
These are 36" long, but they are made to fit 32" stud centers. Just keep this in mind when planning your project. I bought two for a six foot span over windows. It took some engineering to make them work, but I am pleased with the results. A great product, not cheesy at all.

Okay pot rack from Duluth, MN on 07/13/2014 – Verified Buyer
I decided that I wanted a track system and purchased this one. It does hold my pots and pans nicely. The top shelf part is a bit shallow, so I haven't been able to utilize it yet. The top shelf cam a bit warped, too. Overall, it's a nice system. A little over priced for what you get. The two end hooks swivel, the others do not.
