Tao Terra Mini Bedding Collection in Khaki

I am very pleased with the quality of this comforter. This is my 4th try at finding what I was really looking for in a comforter. The other three were returned immediately. The top is a little scratchy right now, but, I just got it. Once it's washed I am confident that it will soften up. I have to take it to a laundry that has a large capacity washer and with a little Woolite I'm sure it will be perfect. The underside fabric is already soft but, it too will benefit from a little Woolite. I'm spoiled thanks to my Mom. I HAVE to have soft bedding or I can't sleep well. :-) I even take my own sheets when traveling if I'm in doubt about the linen where I'm staying. I put my soft sheets over their scratchy ones while there, then throw mine back in my suitcase and go home. Weird, I know, but, I'm old enough to be set in my ways and don't like being uncomfortable when I sleep. :-) This is a very well made and attractive comforter. For the manufacturer's benefit: The only thing that I would change is, you made the shams of an off white fabric (a good fabric in itself) with just a little of the comforter fabric on the trim. I would have visually preferred it be the opposite way around, but, it's not a deal breaker for me. Also, the dust ruffle is not that great, but, I am not a dust ruffle fan anyway. My wood bed has wide wood side rails and it just looks better without a dust ruffle. Again, it's not a deal breaker for me. I firmly believe that this comforter will last for years. It's a nice medium/heavy weight fabric, almost a lightweight canvas, it's well made and of good quality. I am totally happy with it.
