I was looking for a foosball table after my 4 year old was unnaturally attracted to a full-size table at a friend's house. Unwilling to invest the space or dollars for a large table, I opted instead of a tabletop version. This one fit the bill- the price was very reasonable for the quality construction. The action is smooth, the build is sturdy. The only complaint I have (thus the loss of a star) is that there is no mechanism to secure the game to the tabletop (suction cups, etc), so the game table ends up inching around the tabletop as more spirited plays are underway. This is one of the best table hockey games on the market. The others have a built in flaw with the goalie being operated from one side - makes playing the game awkward.
