We bought the TV stand to fit our 55" TV. The stand is built solidly and holds our hefty TV without wobbling or insecurity. The color is quite sleek and the look is very finished. There's no scuffing in the finish or uneven appearance. The glass is shaded so if you're looking for something to semi hide your shelving, this is your pick! There is lots of space! The shelves are deep and there's six of them. You can adjust the height of them (we picked centered across). The stand looks exactly as pictured. The height is a great size. The backing doesn't come all the way to the top, but it's good for threading wires through and you can't see it from sitting on a sofa. The not so great: I'd have loved this stand to be more elegant and rounded, but it's beautiful to look at and it's exactly what we bought and paid for. As it stands now, that's the best complaint I can have about this purchase. In closing, I think the stand is a great value for the price (we got it on sale, I'm new to the site and I don't know if the site has these sale prices year round). I'm very happy with the features of the stand as well as how sturdy it is. It doesn't seem like flimsy build-it-kits you can buy. The best part? I bought this TV stand mainly because of the swivel top which allows me to turn my TV for viewing whether I am on my treadmill or relaxing on my couch. Since I don't own a bunch of electronic gadgets for my TV, the swivel top holds my DVD player & Wii very nicely while I utilize the shelves below as a bookcase. The glass doors are an added plus for keeping the dust off my books. I had no problems putting this stand together & really like the fact that it has wheels so can be moved with ease when I wish to clean the floor underneath & behind it. After looking at several "big box" stores and doing an exhaustive Internet search for a TV stand for our 60" flat screen TV, we decided on this model, and are extremely happy with the purchase. The price was the same or less than some decidedly homely and cheap-looking 60" units seen elsewhere, and the design is possibly the most elegant, practical, and unobtrusive we found anywhere. The sleek, simple lines, glass doors, and metal feet fit well with our mid-century modern decor, there's plenty of space for components, setup was straightforward, and construction/materials very solid for a unit in this price range. I can't think of anything I don't like about it, except perhaps that the black finish does show dust easily, but that's sort of a given. In short, we love this TV stand (as much as one can love a piece of furniture) and are really glad we didn't settle for any of the other TV stands we looked at before we found this one."..."  Read more

I spent alot of time looking for the best stand for my 61' LED DLP. Pros: -This stand looks great with the 2007 samsungs. -It' has plenty of room for the TV and all the components. It also fit my very big center channel which was a huge plus for this stand. -It came together easy, but did take 2-3 hours to put together. -It looks good with or without the doors. Cons: -The finish was good and it came in good shape. Not much of a con, but I was actually hoping for a little more 'distress' the stand is pretty much all black with some small sections where the stain is lighter. -Wire management was also lacking, but fixable. The stand is big enough to hid most of the wiring for your components, but to get wiring from the center shelves to the outer shelves, you have to go outside the back panel of the stand and then back in. This can quickly start looking messy. I ended up putting two 2.5" holes in the partitions. This kept routing inside the stand."..."  Read more
