My A/V system that utilizes this Plateau SR-V 75 are Samsung LN55A950 LCD with Polk Audio CSi5 center channel speaker, Monster Power HTS 5100 S/S Power Conditioner Stage 4, Yamaha A/V RV-2500 receiver, Panasonic DMP-BD55 Blu-Ray Player, and DirecTV HD DVR Model HR22 receiver. The height of my center channel is what prompted me to buy this Plateau TV stand. It is the ONLY one in the market today that can house my masive center channel speaker. I'll rank my review of this stand by giving it a scale of 1 star to 5 star (5 star being best).Fit and finish - 4.5 star (very nice luster and feel-to-touch on the cabinet)Price to quality ratio - 4 star (see comment below)Quality of Construction - 3.5 star (For the price that I paid, I had to go to [...]hardware store to buy and use 1-1/2" long corner brackets (galvanize color) for the 2 center vertical dividers to solidify and stabilize the entire packaged unit. Drill and install the corner brace about 1" away in the back side edge/corners of the TV stand so that it is not visible from the front. This distance will still allow you to properly install all 3 back cover panels. Without it, the TV stand is flimsy. The wooden dowels are not adequate enough to prevent the movement of the stand from side-to-side. If you have an expensive A/V receiver like Denon's AVR-5308, or Pioneer Elite's VSX-94TXH, or Yamaha's RX-Z7, etc, do not bother installing the back cover panel where your A/V receiver resides. There is too much heat coming off from these receivers coupled with inadequate amount of ventilation from the back cover panel.Bottom line, I will still recommend buying this TV stand but buy when it is discounted and don't forget to get to pick up the corner brace from your local hardware store."..."  Read more

I have had swivel tv stands in the past but yous ....... It is soooo totally you get what is paid for. Wayfair has an incredible product and even at first look the tv stand might sound like a lot of pocket change but ....... Shazam!!!! The tv stand is phenominal in quality, detail, and the easiest to put together. My service partner Finn can do his of corner of bed. I was looking for a quality piece of furniture to go along with my new flat screen tv. I wanted a solid piece of furniture that was already assembled as I don't buy furniture that has to be assembled because I feel the quality just isn't there. At first I went back to my local ma & pa furniture store that I had purchased my last tv unit from about 15 years ago. I fell in love with this unit and ordered it that day. They had a sample on the floor which was helpful. Nice, heavy, solid piece of furniture that was warm and inviting, the perfect look. I wrote down the model number and did further research. Wayfair had this piece on line for $475.00 LESS! My ma & pa store couldn't come close to the price so I took a chance and ordered it on line. I never orderd furniture like this on line before and was a little worried.[...].I received the same quality service through Wayfair as I have from my local ma & pa furniture store. The only difference was Wayfair saved me over $475.00!I have already recommend this site to family and friends. Getting preped for the new large flat screen TV purchase, but knew that just any TV stand would do. Wanted to match some previously purchased side tables and this stand was a perfect match. Same manufacturer (Riverside) Details are excellent, and stone/slate accents look nice (even though not real). Did not anticipate that the top would have border of stone tile, nice addition. Good wood grain and color, but as it is dark color shows dust easily, but cannot believe any worse than smoked glass/metal stand. If your're looking for a good looking, quality wood TV stand, and can pay a little more, but much less than furniture stores/custom units; then consider this one."..."  Read more
