We bought this stand for a 58" plasma TV and the size is perfect. Pros: - Nice looking - Seems sturdy and high quality - Cabinets have plenty of room for A/V components. I stuffed in a DVD player, Blu-ray player, stereo receiver, CD player, tape deck, video game console and still had spare room for storage of other items. - Back panels come out easily for initial hookup and wiring of components. Flip-up panel on top makes it easy to get to at least some of the connections. Cons: - The color was distinctly darker than the picture shown on the web. Picture makes it look like a light-wood tone. The one we received is a darker tone. I didn't see an array of wood tones offered for this model on the web site, so I'm guessing this is the only shade it comes in. - Only comes with two adjustable shelves, one for each cabinet. Would be nice to have a couple of additional shelves. - Depending on how your TV sits on its base, it may sit on top of the flip-up panel on the top of the stand, meaning you won't be able to open the top panel with your TV sitting centered on top of the stand. Therefore, using the flip-up panel will require you to slide your TV forward to get access. Not a big hassle it you are not going to need access to the wiring of components frequently."..."  Read more

Pros... -This this is REAL WOOD furniture, not that cheap [*] garbage. Don't gripe about the price and look for something cheaper and then wonder why all your furniture is cardboard.-Other than putting in the inside shelves, little to no assembly required-They already thought to punch two large holes in the back for cable maintenance, one for each shelf-Spacious room on top. It holds my flat screen TV AND my XBOX AND two controllers AND piles of CDs with plenty of room to spare.-It's attractive and stylish-Very sturdy. I can stand on it!Cons...-the real color is a bit darker than shown on the photo-Heavy. You'll probably need a hand truck or two people to move it-It has decorative metal edging on the front door glass that can block remote control signals if you use them at an angle-The side areas that hold the trays for the DVDs are kinda wasted space. You can fit lots more DVDs in these areas other than on the trays.-The trays for the DVDS sometimes jump off their rollers. This can be fixed with a pair of pliars.-[*] is this a dust magnet!The Pros definitely outweigh the cons, however. Great stand for our new large flat screen TV! This looks nice, and feels quite sturdy. It holds our components very well, as well as our all our DVDs and games. The cord organizer section in the back with the lid is very useful and keeps it looking clean. We have hooked up the HD Cable box, a Wii, as well as an XBox, in the cabinet.
