We bought the TV stand to fit our 55" TV. The stand is built solidly and holds our hefty TV without wobbling or insecurity. The color is quite sleek and the look is very finished. There's no scuffing in the finish or uneven appearance. The glass is shaded so if you're looking for something to semi hide your shelving, this is your pick! There is lots of space! The shelves are deep and there's six of them. You can adjust the height of them (we picked centered across). The stand looks exactly as pictured. The height is a great size. The backing doesn't come all the way to the top, but it's good for threading wires through and you can't see it from sitting on a sofa. The not so great: I'd have loved this stand to be more elegant and rounded, but it's beautiful to look at and it's exactly what we bought and paid for. As it stands now, that's the best complaint I can have about this purchase. In closing, I think the stand is a great value for the price (we got it on sale, I'm new to the site and I don't know if the site has these sale prices year round). I'm very happy with the features of the stand as well as how sturdy it is. It doesn't seem like flimsy build-it-kits you can buy. The best part? After looking at several "big box" stores and doing an exhaustive Internet search for a TV stand for our 60" flat screen TV, we decided on this model, and are extremely happy with the purchase. The price was the same or less than some decidedly homely and cheap-looking 60" units seen elsewhere, and the design is possibly the most elegant, practical, and unobtrusive we found anywhere. The sleek, simple lines, glass doors, and metal feet fit well with our mid-century modern decor, there's plenty of space for components, setup was straightforward, and construction/materials very solid for a unit in this price range. I can't think of anything I don't like about it, except perhaps that the black finish does show dust easily, but that's sort of a given. In short, we love this TV stand (as much as one can love a piece of furniture) and are really glad we didn't settle for any of the other TV stands we looked at before we found this one."..."  Read more

This tv stand just came today. It looks great and took me a maximum of 20 minutes to put together with phone call interruptions. I don't necessarily think it looks as "high end" as others have stated, but it definitely looks good with a modern feel. I was unaware that "engineered wood" meant thick particle board. In that regards is why I felt it was a little expensive ($230 at the time) for 70lbs of particle board. The shelves feel very sturdy with all my electronics piled on them. One thing I would make note of, the descriptions states this stand accommodates tv's from 50-68". I have a 51" Samsung that looked gigantic on my old tv stand. This stand being as wide as it is makes the tv itself look kind of minuscule. I would only recommend this stand if you have a tv that is 55"+. If you're going to buy a large flat panel tv, you probably are still going to want it to feel like it's a large tv."..."  Read more

Now our HD big screen TV and components look like a home theater with this TV stand! The TV is at a good height for viewing! Got it at a good price, before increase, and I used a discount code (google for one) to get a tad better deal. Appreciate the free shipping! Would not have bought it from here, otherwise. Hubby put together pretty much by himself (I had to help a little). It took him about 3 hours to assemble; and then a few more hours to tweak the fit of the TV securely. It is perfect and secure and looks much better than our shorter tv stand. The stand had a few nicks of paint missing, but it's in the back and cannot be seen. Could touch up. I just don't understand why the issue is not corrected when customers say the same thing over a period of time? If you can get this it at a good price, go for it!"..."  Read more
