I reviewed this product several times before purchasing. I accidentally saw this product looking for a TV Stand. Starting reading about it and thought it would serve two purposes. One for the height I needed for a TV Stand and Heat for a medium size area. Spoke with customer service and they were very helpful. The stand sets you TV at eye level making it much better to watch. The heat and the look of the fireplace is very relaxing and useful at the same time. I love the remote ot the heater. Can use with or without heat and the same for the logs. Very nice. This media stand has the appearance and feel of a finely crafted, expensive piece of furniture. The size and adjustability of the shelves make it easy to fit your personal compartmentlizing needs. This piece needed to be assembled, but it went together easily with excelent sturdy quality hardware. I especially like the fifth leg/foot that attaches in the middle for added support and the back of it is not some flimsy form of cardboard but more like a piece of wood paneling. The wood finish has a lovely grain pattern, but the color was a little more towards a redish hue than the one shown in the picture. It blended in quite well with the other furniture I have in my living room and it is the perfect size for my 47" flat panel tv. I wouldn't reccommend it be used for any tv over 50" because it would probably stick out over the sides, and I wouldn't reccommend it be used for any that was smaller than a 42" because then it would be too low for comfortable viewing. Overall, this is a great piece of furniture at a terrific price. I did alot of shopping around before I bought it and there isn't a beater deal anywhere!"..."  Read more

I have used this cabinet as TV stand for my 42" flat screen. It fits perfectly in the family room corner thus saving a great deal of space and allows viewing of the TV from any place in the room. It was very easy to assemble and the wood grain complements the other pieces of furniture in the room. The glass doors allows the DVR and the DVD to be operated with remotes. I live in a small house and wanted a nice-looking TV stand for my living room - this definitely fits the bill. Gives room for my DVD player, VCR and cable box, plus storage for DVD's and VCR tapes below. Has room for my Wii and Wii balance board too! My 32" flatscreen hangs over the edge a little on each side, but the stand has plenty of room and the stand is very sturdy hold it.
