I purchased this stand for my 50" Panasonic TC-P50G10 Plasma TV. This stand is heavy! [...] that back panel is black on my stand, unlike the grey shown in the photos, but I like the black better anyhow. [...] The instructions are clear and the stand assembles easily. I found that the cutouts for the cables were large enough for my system. As someone else said in another review, the shelves are not very high, so some components might not fit, but I had no problem with that. This is probably the sturdiest piece of furniture in the house, and there should not be any problem supporting anything that you and a friend (or two) can lift to put on it. In fact, between it and the TV on it, I doubt that it will ever be moved again. By the way, the powder coated finish on the stand is great and the smoked glass shelves are very cool. I just built this yesterday. The stand looks fantastic! I am using a Sony 37XBR6 and a PS3. The finish on the base is a polished glossy black. The tower support is metallic sparkling silver. The instructions and screws were very helpful and properly labeled that an amateur can build it with ease. It's extremely stylish and takes up very little room. The tempered glass feels sturdy, and all holes came pre-drilled with perfect precision. There are a few things worth mentioning though. Be careful with the base. It can be easily dented. As I was assembling, a screw fell onto the base and nicked it. Fortunately, it fell onto an area where I will be putting stuff on it, so I'm not as concerned. When installing, lay a towel or something over the bottom to prevent this from happening. Sanus also forgot to pack in a bolt, but a quick call to Sanus remedied that. Lastly like other users said, the opening to route your wires is not particularly big. Fortunately, I am only hooking up a PS3 to my TV, so it's not much of a concern for me. All in all, this is a fine TV stand from Sanus. Aside from the minor nuances, this is an excellent stand to match your modern/stylish living area."..."  Read more
