I needed to find a new cabinet for my 21" TV, DVD player and stereo. Not for a flat screen, not a wall mount and one in a dark wood color. I have a somewhat small apartment, and needed a piece less than 45" wide, so I couldn't use one of the large entertainment centers that seem to be everywhere. And I needed a unit with a top shelf where I could put my stereo speakers and other items, so I couldn't just use a small TV stand cart. Finding such an item was nearly impossible, let alone finding one that cost under $300, until I found this cabinet. Hooray! I was concerned at first when I saw the picture on the website because the cabinet looked almost too simple and basic, and I was worried that it would look cheap. Thankfully, when it arrived, the pieces were made of nice-looking, sturdy material and have a clean appearance. Assembly was fairly simple and I was able to put it together in a few hours. I think my only small complaint is that the heads of the screws on the side panels are visible, though barely. Other similar pieces often come with small disks to cover the screws, which I would have preferred with this piece. Still, I'm glad that at least one company realizes that not everyone owns a big, oversized flat screen TV and some of us still need nice, simple, compact cabinets like this one."..." Read more
