I shopped around for a while to find a stand for my new 60" Panasonic. I liked the contemporary style racks, but they cost so much more than this stand and they only have storage for peripherals (no DVD storage). Since I have over 300 DVDs, this stand works very nicely and looks great when assembled. It doesn't hold my whole collection, but it allows me to store most of it. As mentioned by others, it takes a while to put together, but well worth the time. I was able to assemble it alone until I got to the doors. Then my husband had to help. It's a little tricky to get the wiring through the openings in the back and have the back "doors" close without leaving a gap. I ended up using shipping tape to keep the back doors together without a gap. Also, you may need a black marker to touch up some of the edges. Some edges appear to be slightly chipped and others seem to have excessive glue, although considering the sturdiness and price of the stand, this was not a major issue to me.
